The closing for the current quarter QE 02/2004 is under progress and the Quarterly statement of accounts for QE 02/2004 will be despatched in 1st week of April.

All the proof of saving for working out rebate on Income Tax received till 29-2-2004 have been accounted for and Income Tax recovered in excess if any, will be refunded in current qtr.QE2/04

Proofs received after 29-2-2004 will be reflected in Form 16 for the year 2003-2004 and refunds, if any, will have to be claimed from the IT Department.

The GP Fund balance for the F.Y. 2003-04 together with interest will also be reflected in QSA for QE 02/2004.

W.e.f. 28-07-2003 all the non-effective claims received in the office are entered in PC and distributed to the task holders. The claims are disposed on a daily basis and finally cleared by the 3rd day. Fresh set of claims is again distributed on the 4th day.

The bills pending as on the last day of the 3 day work cycle are NIL.

After shifting of the office to the new location five Record Libraries have been formed. This helps in easy location of IRLAs and speedy settlement of post retirement discrepancies.
